US Cellular #HelloBetter Campaign Launches
Have you ever compared your current cellular phone rates to that of other providers lately?
I really wish I had done my homework before I signed a long term contact with my current provider. Who, by the way, does not have coverage whenever I leave the area in which I live. It is very frustrating to be on vacation and not have cell service or texting capabilities or any date service. But, I am currently stuck in a contract.
For years and years I never had a contract, but then all these gorgeous new phones came out and I wanted one. My husband said no way as we are a single income family with three small children. He told me I was perfectly fine with my old phone and didn't need all the other jazzy stuff. I did not think I was perfectly fine and felt I needed to update and get with the times. So I walked into my long time provider and let them talk me into a brand new jazzy phone and a long term contract. I am about six months away from getting out of this contract and said jazzy phone doesn't really work very well for me anymore. In fact, it stopped working well after about six months of use.
I pay a hefty monthly bill for this jazzy phone and all the trimmings that come with it and it never works. I drive downtown and guess what. No service. I can't tweet, I can't facebook, I can't do anything. It's dead, just dead. I travel on vacation in the US and yes you guessed it, it's dead. I can't text, I don't get calls, I can't tweet for sure and forget about looking up anything on the internet. It is beyond aggravating. All I get from my husband is "I told you so". I'm paying for a not so jazzy phone that never works unless I'm in my house! Oh and customer service is no help at all, simply telling me the phone is perfect and their service is awesome. But if I would like to upgrade and sign an even longer contract they are happy to assist me. Really?
I don't even know why I tolerate this, well I do, I'm locked into a contract and I have had the same phone number for over a decade and don't want to lose it! Well, guess what? U.S. Cellular is encouraging people to say goodbye to dysfunctional wireless relationships and say hello to a better experience. Goodbye neglect, hello respect. That sounds like a plan of action to me. I deserve better, Right?
U.S. Cellular believes that people deserve better. A mobile phone is supposed to make life simpler and easier to get things done. Your relationship with your wireless carrier should be the same. US Cellular treats their customers like neighbors, not numbers.I'm ready to make the switch. My life is definitely not simpler with my jazzy phone and I don't get anything done with it! In addition to passionate associates, U.S. Cellular provides customers with unique benefits such as the industry’s only points-based rewards program, no contract after the first contract ends, free incoming calls and texts, free Overage Protection and free Battery Swap for your device. Guess whose provider offers NONE of these options. Mine!
Did you know US Cellular is unrivaled in coverage and straight forward and superior pricing? I didn't either. Here are some of their plans and their awesome Rewards Program.
A recent study conducted by U.S. Cellular indicates that 43 percent of individuals are in the 'seven year itch' phase with their wireless provider, noting they are comfortable but suspect they are missing out on something better. You think? I'm in the 10 year itch and am missing something for sure.
I'm wondering though. do people really drop their service providers? I'm a loyal customer, just look, I've been with the same provider for over a decade. Is everyone like me or am I the odd one out? I don't think so. Very few people ever break up with their providers. I wonder what we are all afraid of! I don't switch because I don't want to lose my number and I don't want the hassle and frankly, all are the same, Right?
