Halloween Chocolate Bark

This super simple Halloween Chocolate Bark is a great Halloween treat for some spooky fun. All that is needed is some melted chocolate, cookies, mini candies and some pretzels for the simplest, most delicious Halloween Snack.

Halloween Bark

The day for tricking and treating is upon us and it is pouring rain outdoors. My kids are so upset. I thought to cheer them up a bit and make some Halloween Bark!

Halloween Bark

This is literally one of the easiest recipes to throw together in moments. Most likely you will also have all the ingredients in your home already. You could begin with chocolate pieces (a bag of chips would work too) or almond bark . . . this I always have in my house - it is VERY versatile. Grab some pretzels and whatever else your taste buds desire.

I have this great aversion to candy corn, so my Halloween Chocolate Bark will NOT be having any of this sweet sick candy tossed in it. We gathered up some pretzels, chocolate chips, tiny Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut Butter M&Ms and chocolate cookies - the Halloween version naturally.

But really, you could add anything. Marshmallows would work well. Hey, you could even try peppermints - like my Peppermint Bark - DELISH! Sprinkles - we totally forgot sprinkles. I even had some candy googly eyeballs left over from our Caramel Apples.

Just simply pour out your melted almond bark, spread it around and begin with one ingredient and place them around. You sort of have to work quickly because your chocolate is cooling off. Then gather up the next ingredient and place those in other areas. I tend to push down the larger pieces so they actually are firmly 'stuck' in the chocolate. Then pop it all in the freezer.

Halloween Bark

This was the perfect pick-me-up recipe for the kiddos today on this gloomy Halloween day! Also, this is the perfect way to get rid of any leftover Halloween Candy - that is if you don't eat it all!
