It is utterly ridiculous some nights in my home. My son is the staller. He just simply does not want to go to bed early because he thinks he is too old to go to bed before 10 pm/ But we all pay the price the next day when Mr. Grumpy pants waked up at very early o'clock in the morning for school.
My little one simply "needs" one more hug and then another one and then one last one and it has to be super long. She is famous for long hugs to stall actually getting under the covers.
My oldest daughter is the bedtime police. This is one child who I can always count on to go directly to bed and to stay in bed, on time, every single night. When we are on vacation she worries that she won't be in bed on time. It's quite hilarious!
Some nights are better than others and some nights I want to poke my eyeballs out. Turns out, the bedtime excuses are universal – more than 60% of parents around the globe are dealing with kids’ stall tactics before bed, adding up to nearly 20 minutes every single night.(I have three kiddos - so that is 60 MINUTES OF STALL TIME FOR ME!)
But guess what? It’s time to take back nights with a little help from Netflix.
