my morning

My morning routine is pretty boring. I have no grouchy, tired children to wake up way too early, no demands on tired, rouchy children to hurry up, no rushing of children to get off to school, no harried housewife packing lunches, and certainly no craziness to beat the traffic on the way to work.

I simply walk downstairs, brew a pot of coffee, wake the little poppets, feed them a lovely non-rushed breakfast and we all walk about 15 feet to our classroom and begin our school day.

This is my my morning view.

my favorite shoes

This one was an easy shot for the day. I don't have a favorite pair of shoes that I would never throw away. I simply have the favorite pair of shoes "for now".

My feet are oddly shaped so I sort of have a hard time with shoes.

Before I had children I don't think I owned a pair of flats {except for gym shoes and those were only for the gym}. I literally lived in high heels. I even wore high heels until the day I delivered my first child! I tired to wear high heels after I had a baby, but let me tell you, walking around with a newborn tettering away on high heels was not working for me.

my handwriting

I really don't like to write things down. My hand gets tired quickly, my penmanship is horrid and I can type much faster than I can write. I also think in this day and age it is so much easier to not write words to paper. That makes me lazy right?

However, now that I am homeschooling my children, I need to teach them to have beautiful penmanship (of which my son is failing miserably - MISERABLY!). I also need to teach my son how to study for tests and create 'class notes' and how to make him own study guides.

my home

I couldn't possible post just one photo of my home, so I tried to think of what area or room in my home would encompass what my home represents to me and my family. Literally, too hard to do. My home is a jumble of what is going on in our busy lives. Children, work, homeschool, pets, food, projects and well, just plain messy. There is 'stuff' in the kitchen and 'stuff' in the family room and 'stuff' in the office and frankly 'stuff' where it should not be. I simply can not keep up with the messes in my house. There are too many people making the messes and not enought people contributing to cleaning the messes.

Therefore, I decided to take a photo of the love that is in our home. The love that surround all of us and keeps us warm and cozy. The love that makes us smile and giggle and snuggle with each other.
